I recently came across this gorgeous DIY couch from Nina of Stylizimo. Perfect for creating a snug area in your home. You can find how to make this couch here. This is such a great idea and Nina makes it sound so simple to do.

Slow Wood Mun Collection

I have recently discovered this gorgeous furniture collection by Slow Wood though sfgirlbybay.com. Their gorgeous range of tables and desks are handmade by local craftsmen in Fryslan, in the Netherlands. Their philosophy is to create timeless pieces of quality furniture with a raw natural elegance and a low impact on our planet. 

  

                             

I love the earthy colour tones they use which are very nicely contrasted with the pale wood. A beautiful collection.

Yellow and Grey

One of my absolute favourite colour combinations. For me, I love the use of grey in living spaces - I find it calming and subtle.

Adding flashes of yellow lightens the mood of a grey scheme, making it playful and colourful, yet remaining elegant. In the images below,  I just love the dark grey walls and pops of bright yellow.

A Stripe Obsession

The weather this weekend has been beautiful and we've managed to spend a lovely couple of days by the sea. The blue skies and warm sunny days are giving me a real taste of summer living. I keep finding myself drawn to airy cool blues, pastels and virtually anything with a stripe in it.
